Uranium One Group consolidates its foreign uranium assets

JSC “U1 Group”, a member of the international mining division of Rosatom State Corporation has completed a transaction and now owns 100% of Uranium One Holding N.V., a company incorporated in the Netherlands. This transaction allows for further optimization of the Company’s corporate structure and completing the consolidation of its foreign uranium production assets. The transaction involved purchase from JSC “Atomredmetzoloto” (ARMZ) all of the remaining 32.5% of stocks of Uranium One Holding N.V., that indirectly owns the key foreign uranium production assets. JSC “U1 Group” now owns 100% of Uranium One Holding N.V. and its assets. Also, as a result of this deal, JSC “Atomenergoprom” (AEP) ownership of JSC “U1 Group” increased to 78.4%. "The corporate structural optimization of the international mining division Uranium One has been carried out in order to consolidate its international operations, enhance transparency, management efficiency, and position the Company for further growth and collaboration with foreign partners, as part of the overall long term strategic plan”, commented Vasily Konstantinov, President of JSC “U1 Group”.
